This species was a sentient species that existed in the galaxy. Loatha Sommover was a member of this species.[1]
Biology and appearance
This large species was distinguished by elongated, caterpillar-like bodies, which featured various rolls, creases, and a thick, segmented tail. They possessed ten stubby limbs, with orang and brown mottled skin. Their locomotion could be assisted via repulsorlift platforms.[1]
Species in the galaxy
In 34 ABY,[2] a member of this species, Loatha Sommover, was present in Canto Bight on the planet Cantonica.[1]

The species made their onscreen debut in the 2017 film Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi, directed by Rian Johnson.[1] They were originally designed by creature concept designer and sculptor Ivan Manzella,[3] and were referred to by the production code "King 12."[4] According to the Keeper of the Holocron, Leland Chee, as of April 1, 2025, this species still did not have a name within the official Holocron continuity database.[5]
