The liquid-cable launcher[1] also called a grappling spike launcher[3] was a device used that fired cables, which could be used to pull a person or droid along. BB-series astromech droids had liquid cable launchers, which they used for crossing difficult terrain.[4] Quinlan Vos also owned a liquid cable launcher, which he used while in a Black Sun Fortress.[2] BB-8 once used his liquid cable launcher to help he and F3-ZK escape from Teedo.[5] He later used it again to tie up Canto Bight police officers at their headquarters on Cantonica after distracting them with coins and electrocuting them in order to rescue Finn, Rose Tico and "DJ" from the prison.[1]
Behind the scenes
While Asajj Ventress was chasing the Volpai Moregi, Quinlan Vos spots her and using his cable launcher to get to her.[6]
