The Linear Miasma Scientists were a group of scientists who studied the Linear Miasma nebula in the Endor system. They belonged to the Endorian Researchers Guild.[1]
During the Galactic Civil War, the Linear Miasma Scientists were frequently threatened by a group of pirates, the Zynt'aia Spice Guardians, who were very active near the nebula.[1] While the scientists used research vessels for their work, their guards piloted Z-95-AF4 Headhunters and T-65 X-wing starfighters.[3]
After the Battle of Yavin, the scientists were also present in the Yavin system.[2]
