Limna Renence was an officer of the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War. Around the time of the Battle of Yavin, Renence was a recruiting officer in the recruitment office of the Imperial Navy. Limna Renence was involved in a large recruitment program of new pilots for the Imperial Starfighter Corps. Although the Imperial Navy recruitment program was a success, the Rebel Alliance and neutral factions soon initiated similar programs that were also very successful.[1]
Behind the scenes
Limna Renence was mentioned in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[2] The document mentioning Limna Renence was added to the game with the release of the expansion pack Jump to Lightspeed on October 27, 2004.[1]
