Life Day robes were a set of robes used in the celebration of the Wookiee holiday Life Day. They were red in color, and were made to cover the entire body, except for the head. During one particular Life Day celebration, it was sold along with the Czerka LD-1 Celebrator, the Life Day Holo-Tree, the Life Day orb and the Life Day Tinsel Bomb.[1]

Behind the scenes

Life Day robes first appeared in 1978's The Star Wars Holiday Special. In popular culture, the Snuggie—a sleeved blanket product—has been humorously compared to Life Day robes by a number of websites and bloggers.[2][3][4][5]
