A lie detector was a device that could be used to verify the truth by scanning a sentient being for any biological indicators of possible lying. ISB Agent Alecia Beck had a prosthetic eye that featured a thermal mode, pulse rate and respiration's scanner that could be used as a makeshift lie detector.[1]
