- "The famous and sometimes controversial jatz performer Fitz Roi has quite abruptly chosen to transfer his permanent residence from his family's estate on Lenniera to the capital of Esseles, Calamar."
- ―A news report for TriNebulon News by Janna Dixon
Lenniera was a terrestrial celestial body[2] located in the Lenniera system. It was a part of the Arrowhead, or the Slice portion of the Core Worlds.[1] It was the site of the estate of[2] the centuries-old[4] family of[2] the Lennieran[3] jatz musician Fitz Roi[2] of[5] the Colonies'[6] Tapani sector.[5] Three weeks before the date 36:4:10, Roi left his home on Lenniera for an impromptu galactic tour, and eventually he announced his unexpected decision to move his permanent residence to the city Calamar on[2] the Core world[6] Esseles. On 36:4:10, the musician's decision was noted in a news report by Janna Dixon for TriNebulon News.[2]
Behind the scenes
Lenniera was introduced by Paul Sudlow in the "Galaxywide NewsNets" feature of the sixth issue of West End Games' Star Wars Adventure Journal, which was published in May 1995.[2] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Lenniera system, and therefore the celestial body itself, in grid square M-10.[1] The January 21, 2014 second installment of the StarWars.com article "Slugthrowers: An Overview of Popular Music and Musicians in a Galaxy Far, Far Away" by Ed Erdelac misspelled the demonym form of Lenniera's name as "Lenneiran."[3]
