Leida Mothma's wedding dress[2] was worn by Leida Mothma at her wedding to Stekan Sculdun at the Mothma Estate on Chandrila[3] in 4 BBY.[4] The dress had a short train, a silver-colored belt, and sheer sleeves.[3] On the first day of her wedding celebration, Mothma showed the dress on a repulsor mannequin to her peers.[1] Shortly before her actual wedding ceremony, she snagged the gown while walking, but stopped before it was significantly damaged. For the ceremony, the dress was paired with a long white veil and a silver necklace hung from the hair, but these accessories were removed before later celebrations that day.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Star Wars: Andor costume design team, led by Michael Wilkinson, took six months to construct the dress, with details including hand-beading and hand-finishing.[2]
