Leaf-tail

Description

A non-sentient species of winged rodent, leaf-tails had membranous leaf-like tails that aided in balance and camouflage. Omnivorous, leaf-tails ate both berries and rodents to sustain itself. They had expandable cheeks used to gather food—typically cyanoberries. They had great agility which helped them jump from tree to tree. Living in nests, leaf-wings attacked in swarms of dozens.^[1] The rodents were the main prey of creatures such as greater bogwings.
