Lavender treebread was a type of bread that was edible by Ortolans.[1] Around 4 ABY,[2] the Ortolan musician Max Rebo was excited as he anticipated eating lavender treebread at dinner; however, he ultimately did not receive the dinner and did not eat any of the bread.[1]

Lavender treebread was mentioned in "And the Band Played On: The Band's Tale," a short story written by John Gregory Betancourt and published in the Tales from Jabba's Palace story collection in 1995.[1]
