Lava nymph

Lava nymphs were winged creatures that dwelled in groups, living in luminescent hives[1] at the Corvax Fortress[2] during the Imperial Era. They possessed abdomens that glowed bright orange, the light increasing in intensity as the creature grew agitated, eventually swelling into a ball of lava that the nymph spat from its maw. When the creature's body was crushed, liquid lava burst out of their body.[1]
