Laser brain

"Laser brain,"^[2] also spelled as "laserbrain"^[3] and "laser-brain,"^[4] was an insult used in the galaxy to describe someone as foolish.^[5] Notable users of this term included Kozmo Sundrel IV,^[6] Lourna Dee,^[5] Asajj Ventress,^[3] Jek Porkins,^[7] Princess Leia,^[1] and Maize Raynshi.^[8]

Princess Leia called Han Solo "laser brain" on at least three separate occasions^[1][9][10] and used the term once for a group of Imperial stormtroopers.^[11]

Behind the scenes

The word "laser brain" first appeared in the 1980 film Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. The word^[1] is similar to the real-world insult "birdbrain."^[12]
