Larence Garello was a male individual who was the chief executive of the midlevel materials research and manufacturing company Garello Technologies, based in the Keftia district of the planet Ab Dalis. When Ab Dalis was struck by the first Emergence of the Great Hyperspace Disaster, Garello ordered his entire workforce and their families to evacuate the planet on a convoy of six of the company's freighters. Garello himself was situated aboard the lead vessel, the Arbitrage, commanded by Captain Odabba. As the convoy departed Ab Dalis, it was attacked by members of the Nihil marauder group. After destroying two of Garello's freighters, the Nihil breached the bridge of the Arbitrage, filling it with poison gas. Garello attempted to hold his breath, but was unable to avoid succumbing to the poison.[2]
