Landonis Balthazar Calrissian's father was first mentioned in the 2018 Star Wars Anthology film Solo: A Star Wars Story.[1]

There were plans to include Lando's father earlier in the Star Wars franchise when Samuel L. Jackson was slated to appear as Lando's father—then named Grando Calrissian—in the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, before signing to play Jedi Master Mace Windu instead.[2]

In the LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales episode "Gambit on Geonosis," Lando hangs a photo of his father in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon shortly before the Battle of Endor.[3]
