Lamia was a female individual who was the distant cousin of the human Pijali Crown Princess Fanry.[1] In 40 BBY,[2] they were present on the Inner Rim planet Pijal shortly after Fanry's coronation as queen ended in an unsuccessful revolution against the Czerka Corporation, a company with significant control over the world.[1]
Fanry reluctantly abdicated her position in the Pijali monarchy in the aftermath of the incident, allowing Lamia to briefly serve as monarch. Queen Lamia's reign lasted just a few hours, which were used to sign treaties forming the planet's monarchy into a democratic Assembly, outlawing slavery in the Pijal system, and setting up the Pijal Hyperspace Corridor as a hyperspace route.[1]
