- "Simple logic. Del shot out their hyperdrive. They need a new unit—and we've staked out the closest supply depot in the spaceport. We'll be ready for them when they get here."
- ―Iden Versio, to her team
Lalo Spare Bits was a supply depot at the black-market spaceport Depatar that sold technology such as hyperdrives. Inferno Squad surveil Lalo Spare Bits
Around 3 ABY,[2] after the hyperdrive of her ship, the Edgehawk, was damaged by the Imperial Special Forces unit Inferno Squad, the bounty hunter T'onga and her crew visited Depatar to acquire a new hyperdrive unit. Inferno Squad traveled to the far side of the planet and planned a stealth attack. After assessing their enemy, Commander Iden Versio, knowing the crew were in need of a replacement hyperdrive, staked out Lalo Spare Bits, as it was the closest depot to the docking bay where the bounty hunters had landed.[1]
T'onga and the assassin droid 4-LOM made their way to Lalo Spare Bits to get the new part. Just as they reached the depot and T'onga identified what they needed, the two were ambushed by Inferno Squad. 4-LOM was quickly rendered immobilized, and after a brief fight between T'onga and Versio, fellow Inferno Squad member Gideon Hask knocked T'onga out after she fled from the area outside of Lalo Spare Bits.[1] Intent on locating T'onga's associate Beilert Valance, Versio disguised herself with T'onga's cloak and, with[3] her seeker droid Dio[4] controlling 4-LOM, returned to the Edgehawk with a hyperdrive unit to surprise-attack the rest of the group, followed closely by both Hask and Del Meeko, the third member of Inferno Squad.[3]
