Dominique

Lady Dominique was a Sith Lord of the reconstituted Sith Empire who, along with Lord Kanoth, become one of the leaders of the obscure Sith cult known as the Unmasked.^[2]

Biography

An apprentice to Lord Renning alongside Malora, she was constantly overshadowed by Malora, who she came to see as a rival. Once Malora gained a seat on the Dark Council, that rivalry came to an end. Still wanting to overshadow Malora, Dominique came to work with Lord Kanoth and his protégé, Lord Valeo, in scouring the galaxy looking for ways to advance the field of Sith alchemy, and together the group formed a secret cult called the Unmasked who were dedicated to the legacy of Darth Nihilus, hoping to recreate the accident which turned him into a wound in the Force.^[4] However, with most Sith scientific resources being diverted to Malora's experiments on Ossus, Dominique continued to be overlooked. Eventually, she discovered an AI called ARIA, who brokered a deal with Dominique; If Dominique would conceal the AI's existence, then ARIA would provide Dominique with research files on gravitational anomalies. Dominique agreed, and took these files to Kanoth, who was searching for the Mass Shadow Generator and recognised the gravitational anomalies in sector R-4 as belonging to the Mass Shadow Generator.^[5] Building a research station, they attempted to rebuild the Mass Shadow Generator, however when the research wasn't going fast enough, Dominique attempted to merge with an AI called EVE, and succeeded, but turned the entire research station into one giant hivemind as a result.^[6] During the Mission to the R-4 anomaly, Dominique was killed by the Alliance Commander, who also slew Kanoth and destroyed the station.^[7]
