A research station in the Outer Rim Territories was operated by the Sith cult known as the Unmasked during the Third Galactic War.[2] The station was built after the reconstituted Sith Empire discovered a fragment of the Mass Shadow Generator that destroyed the planet Malachor V. The station was then used by the Unmasked to rebuild the superweapon.[1] Eventually, the Mass Shadow Generator was destroyed when the Eternal Alliance attacked the research station and defeated the cult.[2]
