Labor Outpost was a settlement on Yavin 4.
Characteristics
The outpost was little more than a small, enclosed settlement. However, unlike the Yavin 4 Mining Outpost, it had a sturdier perimeter and a large watch tower. It also had its own cantina, medical center, and spaceport.[1]
History
This outpost was established by the Galactic Empire after capturing Yavin 4 from the Rebel Alliance in 0 ABY. The outpost was popular among smugglers, who operated out of it frequently.[1]
Some notable residents of the outpost during this time included Lieutenant Colonel Aqzow, Major Eker, and Wuioe Opca.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Labor Outpost is one of three small outposts on Yavin 4 in the MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies that has its own spaceport. The other two settlements that have a spaceport in the game are the Mining Outpost and the Imperial Fortress.
