A male individual wielded blasters during the Procopian Crisis,[1] which occurred by around 482 BBY. Over a century later, in 382 BBY,[2] the individual's great-granddaughter, Galactic Republic Supreme Chancellor Kyong Greylark, kept the blasters in a cabinet in her Coruscant home about which she had all but forgotten.[1]
Behind the scenes
Kyong Greylark's great-grandfather was mentioned in Cataclysm, a novel written by Lydia Kang and published in 2023 as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase II.[3]

- ↑ The mention of Kyong Greylark's great-grandfather in The High Republic: Cataclysm takes place concurrently with the Night of Sorrow, which Star Wars: Timelines dates to 382 BBY. As Cataclysm states that the Procopian Crisis occurred over a century prior to its own events, it must have occurred by around 482 BBY.
