Commander Kulkis was a Nikto male who served in the Thaereian military[1] during the Clone Wars.[2] As a test of resolve, Kulkis drew a knife against the Thaereian military soldier Nightwing and was killed by him. A short story depicting Kulkis' death at the hands of Nightwing was posted on the Cularin holonet node by an unspecified party; according to the story Kulkis had a reputation for cruelty and was in charge of the Bravedawn, large troop transport. Many speculated that the story was written by Osten Dal'Nay of the Cularin Militia[1] and that Dal'Nay was the true identity of Kulkis' killer Nightwing.[3]
