Krins was a member of the Riftwalkers, a pirate gang led by Zilastra, during the Republic Era. After the Riftwalkers captured the freighter Morleen and brought it to the Riftwalker Compound on the planet Keldooine, Krins and fellow pirate Tal boarded it to negotiate with its owner. Although the Riftwalkers' victims typically surrendered, the pilot killed both Krins and Tal, whose deaths were reported to Zilastra by Burlug, her second-in-command.[2]
