Krill sharks were a type of shark found on[1] the planet[2] Eiram. During a seasonal ritual, krill sharks broke through the surface of the water. On one occasion, in the city Erasmus on Eiram, the Eirami Jedi Raa-lyn Las was present when locals gathered along piers to watch the ritual.[1] In 228 BBY,[3] when Las and the Republic Defense Coalition pilot Lexi Greylark were trapped in a bunker on the planet Palagosal, Las used the Force to share her memory of seeing the krill sharks during their seasonal ritual with Greylark.[1]

Krill sharks appeared in a memory in the 2024 junior novel The High Republic: Beware the Nameless, written by Zoraida Córdova and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[4]
