Koten and Tichina's mother was a Force-sensitive alien who lived on Selk with her daughters Koten and Tichina. When the Galactic Empire invaded their planet, she fought the Empire at the Imperial factory on the planet. During the attack, she was killed by an All Terrain Scout Transport.[2]

Behind the scenes

Koten and Tichina's mother appeared in "In the Stars," a non-canon short film released as part of the first volume of the Star Wars: Visions series, written and directed by Gabriel Osorio. The animated short, produced by Punkrobot Studios, was released on Disney+[2] on September 22, 2021.[3]
