"Got a taste for espionage now, have you? Excellent."
―Kormund Thrylle, to a spacer[1]

Kormund Thrylle was a male Human spy of the Rebel Alliance who lived during the Galactic Civil War.

Biography

"Imperial Security is searching for me. I have important information for the Alliance."
―Kormund Thrylle, to a spacer[1]

After the Battle of Yavin, Kormund Thrylle was stationed in a tent in Bestine on Tatooine.[1]

In 1 ABY,[2] he tasked a Rebel spacer with delivering an important message to Reen Loruk. Imperial Security was searching for Thrylle, so he needed a loyal sympathizer to deliver the message. The spacer agreed to deliver the message to Reen Loruk, who needed to be informed on Thrylle's mission status. Though the spacer came across an Imperial Probot, he quickly destroyed it, and handed the message over to Loruk.[1]

Thrylle was happy with the spacer's progress, but still had one final task. A soldier of the Alliance needed to collect important Imperial documents from Thrylle, but he needed help escorting the soldier to him. Thrylle was sure that once he handed the datadisc to the Alliance, he could get arrested twice an hour without risking any further information. So the spacer, dedicated to help the Rebellion, agreed to find the soldier, named Rodius Tharn. Fortunately, the spacer managed to find Tharn, despite the intervention of the Tatooine militia, and escorted him back safely to Thrylle. Thrylle was thankful, but had no further work for the spacer.[1]

  2. The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
