The Koorivar Fusiliers were part of the Corporate Alliance's Policy Administration Directorate, operating as a defense force. Dressed in red-colored armor, the Koorivar warriors were commanded by the legendary General Oro Dassyne, who was assigned with protecting the corporation's assets. When the Clone Wars took place,[1] from 22 BBY until 19 BBY,[2] the Corporate Alliance and its military powers joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems in combating the Galactic Republic, pulling the Koorivar Fusiliers under the Separatist Droid Army.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Koorivar Fusiliers were introduced in the current Star Wars canon in Rise of the Separatists, a 2019 supplement to Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars Roleplaying products.[1] In Star Wars Legends, the Koorivar Fusiliers were introduced in the HoloNet News article "CIS Shadowfeed Dispatch 15:3:21 Edition," authored by Pablo Hidalgo and published in Star Wars Insider 76[3] on May 18, 2004.[4]
