The Koltine system was a Wild Space star system[1] located within the Jahilid Drift region. It contained the world Koltine.[2]

Behind the scenes

The Koltine system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace.[1] Although the 2008 reference book The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia placed Koltine within the Jahilid Drift, which was stated to be an Outer Rim Territories region,[2] The Essential Atlas placed the Koltine system in grid square L-21 as part of Wild Space instead.[1] Jason Fry confirmed during the development of the The Essential Atlas Online Companion that the Wild Space localization prevails.[3]
