The Jahilid Drift was a region of Wild Space. It contained the worlds Koltine and Pral.

The Jahilid Drift was located in Wild Space.[1] This area of space contained Koltine, Pral and other worlds.[2][3] The Jahilid system was probably located within or near this region.[1]
History
More than a decade after the establishment of the Galactic Empire, the Kaleesh Imperial general Bentilais san Sk'ar led a strike force to conquer several worlds along the Jahilid Drift, including Pral and Koltine. Sk'ar's victories in the region led to a boost in his reputation, even among the most speciesist Imperial admirals.[3]
Behind the scenes
Although the 2008 reference book The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia stated that the Jahilid Drift was a region of the Outer Rim Territories,[2] the 2009 book The Essential Atlas later established that the Jahilid Drift was actually located in Wild Space.[4] Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, confirmed during the development of the The Essential Atlas Online Companion that the Wild Space localization prevails.[5]
