The Koiogra system was located in the Grohl sector[1] within the Slice portion of[2] the Outer Rim Territories.[1] It was situated on the super-hyperroute known as the Triellus Trade Route, which linked it to the Molavar and Piroket systems.[2]

By 3637 BBY,[3] the Human Republic Navy slicer Kendra Novar, who hailed from the Koiogra system, popularized the naming of the starship maneuver known as the Koiogran turn after her home system.[4] By the time of Imperial Grand Admiral Thrawn's campaign against the New Republic in 9 ABY, the Koiogra system lay in space affiliated with Thrawn's confederation of Imperial factions.[2]

Behind the scenes

The Koiogra system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square R-16.[2]
