A kinetite generator,[1] also called a kinetite charge,[2] was a type of concussion field generator.[1]
Characteristics
A kinetite generator used concussion vector vanes and transmission planes to drive kinetic energy to a concussion field generator, where it was stored as a kinetite charge. This kinetic energy could then be released as a widely dispersed concussion blast.[1]
The war club used by the Knight of Ren Ushar contained a kinetite generator that made use of a heavy and blunt end to build up a concussion charge, releasing it as a powerful shockwave.[1]
Enfys Nest made use of an Electroripper staff that utilized a kinetite charge, using the shockwaves it generated to great effect in combat.[2][3] Multiple times she used large blast waves to throw groups of people off their feet, such as when she used her staff against Crimson Dawn's Hylobon Enforcers. Enfys used a much smaller blast wave against Tobias Beckett when she fought him aboard a 20-T Railcrawler conveyex transport, sufficient to throw him backward several meters. Enfys used this same small-scale blast not moments later in an acrobatic pole vault onto her waiting Swoop, allowing her to jump the distance between the conveyex and her getaway vehicle.[3]
