The Kilji language was used by the Kilji species.[1] In 18 BBY,[2] General Crofyp, a member of the nation of the Kiljis, the Kilji Illumine, spoke the language aboard his Kilji war cruiser Anvil with Vassal Two, the warship's sensor operator. Crofyp later spoke the language while the cruiser was being attacked by the Chiss heavy cruiser Springhawk.[1]

The Kilji language appeared in the 2021 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Lesser Evil, the final installment of the Ascendancy Trilogy written by Timothy Zahn.[1]
