Kiki was a food eaten in the Unknown Regions of the galaxy that consisted of red, orange, and pale-blue half-moons.[1] In 19 BBY,[2] while on the Vak Combine planet Primea, Chiss Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo, core name "Thrawn," traveling under the pseudonym "Svorno," surveyed the offerings at a food array while attending a diplomatic reception held by the Nikardun General Yiv. The Chiss was approached by navigator Qilori, who advised Thrawn not to try the kiki as eating it required specialized digestive juices.[1]

Kiki appeared in the 2020 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising, the first installment of Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy.[1]
