The Kestel system was a star system located within the Mortex sector of the Outer Rim Territories region of the galaxy.

History

During the Galactic Civil War, the Kestel system was used by the Empire as a replenishment point. Sometime before the capture of the Black Ice, Imperial Replenishment Fleet DK-209 proceeded on hyperlane GH972 to rendezvous with Assault Fleet EM4.[3]
