Kesiak, also known as Kesiak City, was the old capital city of the planet Thule. It was the stronghold of the Sith armies during the time of the Sith War, as well as the location of an ancient weapon, the Dark Reaper.

History

Early into the Clone Wars, remnants of Kesiak's aged, hulked cityscape and the surrounding area became the site of latter stages of a campaign pitting the Galactic Republic and the Clone Army against Count Dooku and the Confederacy of Independent Systems as the former fought to prevent the activation of the Dark Reaper. Since the Confederacy had maintained earlier control of the world, the Droid Army was widely deployed among Kesiak's avenues, even operating tower turrets at various roadblocks.

During the final stages of the battle, Jedi Master Mace Windu successfully navigated the city service ducts, cutting down various droids along the way, so as to eliminate the gate mechanism blocking off entry to Kesiak. Anakin Skywalker then led clone forces into the breakthrough of the defenses. The briefly activated Reaper was then challenged by the young Jedi and defeated.

Following the battle, Kesiak was left in smoldering ruins.
