The Kentian or Kentinian were a species in the Galaxy. The Kentians styled their fur into braids which they would stroke when nervous. They would wrap their braids around their broad feet to silence the clapping noise of their walking instinctually. This was because speed and stealth had been integral to the species' survival. Walking in the presence of another individual without doing this was a sign of great respect and trust in their culture. For this species, kneeling down with their forehead touching the ground was the most solemn form of begging.[1]

The Kentian were created for the Chinese web-novel The Vow of Silver Dawn and named as 肯特因人 (Pinyin: Kěntèyīnrén).
