Kenneth Colley (December 7, 1937 – June 30, 2025) was an English actor who portrayed Admiral Firmus Piett in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Colley is the only actor to play the same Imperial officer in more than one Star Wars film. Other notable roles were that of Jesus in Monty Python's the Life of Brian and Gerhardt Boldt in Hitler: The Last Ten Days, which also starred fellow Star Wars actors Alec Guinness (Obi-Wan Kenobi) and Julian Glover (General Maximilian Veers). Colley also planned to reprise his role of Piett for Richard LeParmentier's fan film Motti Now. He died from COVID-19 and pneumonia on 30th June 2025.[2]
