Kelp tea was a kelp-based beverage potable by Mon Calamari.[1] In 230 BBY,[2] when the Mon Calamari Ghal Tarpfen was feeling stressed on the Starlight Beacon space station, her colleague Administrator Velko Jahen brought her a cup of the tea, knowing the that she was partial to it. She took a sip and thanked her for it.[1]
