"Now, it's here! The excitement! The adventure! Of a new force at breakfast!"
―Narrator[2]

Kellogg's C-3PO's commercial 1 was a TV commercial made by the company Kellogg's in 1984, to promote C-3PO's cereal.[2] Other commercials were made, as well.

Plot summary

C-3PO, holding a metal case, and R2-D2 are traversing a small desert plain while dodging laser fire. The screen cuts to a MC80 Home One type Star Cruiser soaring in space towards a planet. Aboard are C-3PO and R2-D2, who have just finished making a cereal that they name C-3PO's. The screen then cuts to space, where two rings of the cereal fuse to form a "double-O" shape. A Human boy is then shown eating the cereal, followed by a suggestion of how to complement the cereal with your breakfast. The screen cuts back to the desert planet in a cave, where C-3PO has delivered the cereal to a pleased patron. The commercial ends with the slogan "A New Force at Breakfast," followed by C-3PO saying, "May the Force be with you."[2]

Continuity

The commercial stars actor Anthony Daniels as C-3PO,[1] and parts of John Williams' Star Wars theme are played.[2] The creature in the cave was based on an unused design from Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.[3]

An in-universe version of C-3PO's cereal appeared in the picture book Darth Vader and Son.
