Keizar-Volvec[1] also known as Voltec,[2] was a vehicle manufacturer originating from the planet Temako.[1] One of their products was the 9T9-B Wasp Podracer. The Podracer pilot Clegg Holdfast owned a Wasp. He piloted it during the Boonta Eve Classic that took place during the Invasion of Naboo. Holdfast did not win the race, however.[2]
Behind the scenes
Voltec was first mentioned in the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, which was directed by George Lucas.[2] In Star Wars Legends publications, the company's full name became Kieizar-Volvec.[3]
