Keen's Grotto was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in Star Wars: The Galactic Explorer's Guide, a 2019 reference book written by Jason Fry.[1] Within the Star Wars Legends continuity, it was first mentioned in The Essential Guide to Droids, a 1999 title by Daniel Wallace.[2]
