- "This was the first prototype I built. The blade is based on an ancient Karagin design, but there's a nullifier embedded in the hilt. I thought it was the perfect weapon to eliminate a Jedi. Why don't we see?"
- ―Nilsson Summach, to Vernestra Rwoh
During the High Republic Era, the arms dealer Nilsson Summach created a sword with a blade based on an ancient Karagin design.[1] Around 160 BBY,[2] Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh confronted Summach in the Kolnare Mine on the planet Septra. Before they fought, Summach hefted his sword and informed Rwoh of its Karagin design and that it had a 47 lightsaber nullifier embedded in its hilt. Rwoh ultimately defeated Summach, and he was then killed by his employee Grizela.[1]

- ↑ 1.0 1.1 1.2 1.3 The Acolyte: Wayseeker
- ↑ The events of Star Wars: The Acolyte take place in 132 BBY per the reasoning here. Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide establishes that Indara is fifty-four years old in The Acolyte and also states that she is twenty-six years old during the events of The Acolyte: Wayseeker. Therefore, the events of Wayseeker must take place around 160 BBY.
