The Kamgeddon system was located in the Harron sector,[1] a part of the Slice portion of[2] the Expansion Region.[1] It was situated on the hyperlane known as the Ootmian Pabol,[3] which connected it to the Belasco system[4]—a part of the eponymous Belasco sector[1]—and the Inner Rim's Prindaar system.[4]
During the Pius Dea Era, a period of time that lasted between approximately 12,000 BBY and 11,000 BBY, the Kamgeddon system was a part of the Galactic Republic and shared its name with the Glory of Kamgeddon, a cathedral ship of the Republic's Pius Dea cult.[4]
Behind the scenes
The Kamgeddon system was introduced in the 2012 reference book The Essential Guide to Warfare, authored by Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart.[4] The StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas later placed it in grid square O-12.[1]
