KE4-N4 was an Astromech droid that flew alongside Lieutenant Callahan in her E-wing starfighter on the planet Lothal.[1]

KE4-N4 was assigned to Lieutenant Callahan's E-wing starfighter on the planet of Lothal. When Sabine Wren missed the Spectres mural ceremony, Callahan along with Captain Porter intercepted the veteran Mandalorian driving away on her Speeder bike. Callahan attempted to stop her, only for Wren to go under her E-wing, causing KE4-N4 to blow a gasket.[1]
Behind the scenes
KE4-N4 first appeared in the first episode of the Disney+ series Star Wars: Ahsoka,[1] which released on August 22, 2023.[2] The droid remained unidentified when the episode aired, but received a name in Callahan's databank entry on StarWars.com.[3] The droid's head is reminiscent of the distinctive screen-inaccurate design of the original R2-D2 action figure released by Kenner in 1978.[4]
