K-5, also known as Kay-Five or five, was one of the K droids constructed by the droid J-6 on Aricho. Along with the other K droids, K-5 was built to assist the local resistance force in liberating Aricho from the Nihil marauders. After arriving on Aricho, Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh assisted J-6 in outfitting the K droids, including welding an extra arm into K-5's chest cavity. Along with the rest of the K droids, K-5 later took part in the liberation of individuals held by the Nihil at a processing facility.^[1]
