Jynne Celwik was a Human waitress at the Outlander Club on the planet Coruscant prior to the Clone Wars. In 22 BBY, she was working in the club the night bounty hunter Zam Wesell ran into the club to hide from Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker.

Biography

Jynne Celwik was a Human female employed as a waitress at the Outlander Club,[1] a nightclub and gambling hall in the Uscru Entertainment District of[2] the planet[3] Coruscant.[2] She worked at the club just prior to the start of Clone Wars[1] in 22 BBY. In that year,[4] Celwik was working at the club the night of the attempted assassination on Senator Padmé Amidala,[5] roaming the floor in search big tippers and thirsty patrons.[6]

The assassin, bounty hunter Zam Wesell, ran into the club to hide while being chased by the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. Just as the Jedi entered the club, she serviced a table. The waitress made rounds through the club as Skywalker surveyed the crowd. She poured a drink for a patron moments before Kenobi disarmed Wesell at the bar of the club with his lightsaber. While patrons of the club had their attention drawn to the altercation, Celwik did not turn to look and walked away from the table.[5]

Personality and traits

Celwik had blonde hair and light skin.[1] Her look while working at the club was considered attractive, yet unpretentious, unlike the patrons she served.[7]

Equipment

Celwik wore a black dress and thigh-high black boots while working at the Outlander. She carried around a white tray.[5]

Behind the scenes

Jynne Celwik first appeared in the 2002 prequel trilogy film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones. The Outlander Club scenes including Celwik,[5] who was portrayed by model Kristen Bronson,[8] were shot at Fox Studios, Sydney on July 17, 2000.[9] The character was first identified in 2003 through the StarWars.com Image Attack feature.[6]
