The Judicial Plaza was a plaza located on[1] the planet[2] Coruscant, the capital of the Galactic Republic. Around the time of the Clone Wars between the Republic and Confederacy of Independent Systems, the Republic's Judicial Department was headquartered in the Judicial Arcology, a building which dominated the plaza.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Judicial Plaza was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in Rise of the Separatists, a 2019 supplement to Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars Roleplaying products.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Judicial Plaza was introduced in Coruscant and the Core Worlds, a sourcebook published by Wizards of the Coast for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game released on January 3, 2003.[3] It later made its full first appearance in The New Jedi Order: The Unifying Force, authored by James Luceno as the nineteenth and final installment of the Star Wars: The New Jedi Order novel series, which was published on November 4, 2003.[4]
