"Judge's Call" is a short story written by Timothy Zahn for Valentine's Day of 2004 and was made available for free online at the Del Rey website. It is set 21 ABY and details the second honeymoon of Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade.
Plot summary
Luke and his wife Mara are on a planet, where Luke is helping to arbitrate many disputes among the natives, who revere Jedi wisdom. Mara grows increasingly frustrated at the amount of Luke's time being taken by settling these disputes. On a visit to Kei Ras Cirali, an agricultural coordinator, Luke takes Mara to a remote retreat that he has had furnished with things she likes so they can spend some time together alone.
