Juan Schwartz was an alias of Pablo Hidalgo.[1] Hidalgo used it because of short-live rule that prohibited Lucasfilm employees from doing freelance work for publishers.[2] He used the alias in Star Wars Gamer 5 as the author of The University of Sanbra Guide to Intelligent Life: The Chiss and as a co-author of The Emperor's Pawns, with Abel G. Peña.
The alias was itself a reference to Cannibal: The Musical.[1]
