- "…but I'm sure your planet is very nice, too."
- ―Typical Corellian remark to their listeners after boasting about Corellia and Jonash e Solo's role in ending the Alsakan Conflicts
Jonash e Solo was a Prince-Admiral of the Core Worlds planet Corellia active by 3017 BBY. By that time, the seventeeth of a fourteen-millennia-long series of wars—known as the Alsakan Conflicts—over political control of the Galactic Republic was being waged between its capital world Coruscant, the planet Alsakan, and their respective allies.[1]
In 3017 BBY,[1] over the span of a few months,[2] privateers from Corellia, which had consistently pursued neutrality in the conflicts, defeated the fleets of both Coruscant and Alsakan. In response, the Republic declared war on Corellia, but its forces quickly defeated those of the Republic,[1] and on the floor of the Galactic Senate on Coruscant,[2] e Solo dictated a peace treaty between Alsakan and Coruscant[1] at the point of his sword.[2] The treaty brought the Alsakan Conflicts to a conclusion,[1] and millennia later, Corellians would commonly boast to other Core-worlders about the critical role Corellia and e Solo played in ending the wars.[2]
Behind the scenes
Jonash e Solo was first mentioned in the 2012 reference book The Essential Guide to Warfare by Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart.[1]
