John (JD) Daniel

John (JD) Daniel is a CG modeler and fabricator at Tippett Studio. Daniel crafted a plaque to display alongside the puppet of Tet'niss the Mama Crab that the studio created for the 2024 series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. The plaque labels Tet'niss "Megapagurus detritiphorus," which StarWars.com writer Kristin Baver describes as meaning "big hermit crab carrying trash" in Latin.^[1]
